Dating back to the 1850’s this dish has been a staple for the cattle drivers in the west to feeding big families today, this good ole dish has been and still is a real favourite.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 tbs ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 200ml beef stock
  • 1/4 cup Cobra Chilli Habanero Chilli Sauce
  • 400g tin red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Directions

  1. Fry your onion and garlic first and set aside
  2. Brown and break up mince
  3. Add onion and garlic back in as well as other ingredients
  4. Simmer for at least 1/2 hour
