- 1 cup plain flour
- 2tbs corn flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp Kumari Spice World Jambalaya Seasoning
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying (or your preferred choice of oil)
- 2 cups of cooked mash potato
Directions
- Tenderize your steak pieces with a mallet
- Mix flour, baking powder and Jambalaya seasoning together in a bowl
- Dip each steak into the flour mix and then dip it into the buttermilk mix and coat in the flour mix a second time
- Fry your coated steaks in a frypan or skillet with 2-3cm hot oil until lightly golden brown, should only take 2 mins per side
- Set down on a rack to drain off any excess oil
- Set your mash potato evenly on each plate and set fried steak on top
- Pour Cobra Chilli Jambalaya sauce over the steaks (go generous)
- Add any other in season veggies on the side or place carefully on steaks
