Description

This North Indian Korma traditionally cooked with lamb and featuring cashews and cooked with yoghurt, cream and/or coconut cream is mild.

Ingredients
50g ghee/oil, 1 cup yoghurt, 50g cashew nut meal, 100g cashews nuts, 1kg lamb(meat) pieces, 1 inch fresh root ginger, diced, 2 sliced medium onions, 1.5 level tbs Lamb and Cashew Nut Korma Masala, 6 cloves garlic, 1 cup water, salt to taste. 


Method
Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions, garlic and ginger and saute until the onions become soft. Add the Lamb and Cashew Nut Korma Blend and fry for 1 minute. Add the meat and seal well on high heat. Add the yoghurt, salt, water, cashews, and cashew nut meal. Bring to the boil with the lid on and cook the meat until tender and the oil rises to the top of the curry. Reduce the gravy by removing the lid and simmering until the desired consistency is reached.
